How To Fix Your Broken Randolph Sunglasses
How To Fix Your Randolph Sunglasses
We’ve all been there.
No matter how careful we are accidents happen.
You slip your sunglasses into a rear pocket and sit on them by mistake.
Your sunglasses bend or a lens breaks.
My 20-year-old Randolph’s are showing their age and the nose pads have become hard and brittle, the temples are scuffed up and those plastic tips on the end of my bayonet temples are looking pretty sad and ugly.
They are Randolphs and you love them!
Now what?
Luckily, Randolph Sunglasses Are Designed To Bend, Not Break!
What can I do? I love my Randolph sunglasses and don’t want to spend the money to get a new pair of sunglasses.
But I love my Randolph sunglasses!
If you think that the problem with your sunglasses is covered by warranty, go to the Randolph USA website and submit a warranty claim.
If you forgot to register your sunglasses with Randolph, don't worry. Just get in touch and we will help you file your warranty or repair claim right away.
Our staff are familiar with the process and have all of the form necessary for you to submit.
Are There Any Other Options?
First, let us know what has happened to your sunglasses and describe what the problem is.
We can help you detemine if it is a warranty, repair or replace issue.
Sometimes it can be as simple as bending a temple back to it's original position, or perhaps it needs to be replaced.
The good news is that Randolph offeres replacement parts including nose pads, temples, lenses, screws and more.
How To Maintain Your Randolph Sunglasses
First, what is the best way to keep your Randolph Sunglasses clean?
Just follow these 4 easy steps:
- Do NOT rub the dirty lenses, simply rinse them under warm running water first;
- Remove grime and tarnish on the frame with your microfiber pouch or a microfiber cleansing cloth;
- Next, spray your lenses with a solution of soapy water using only a drop of mild dish soap. Or, your could use some commercial lens cleaning solution like our 2oz Purity Cleaner.
- Wipe down your lenses with a microfiber cleaning cloth (like the gray one with the Randolph logo) and polish them until they are streak free and sparkling clean.
