At ESS our unyielding passion is to make the toughest eyewear in the world. Not because it’s our job, but because it is our duty. It is a duty inspired by those we serve: military personnel, first responders and other everyday heroes.
Those who rely on Eye Safety Systems sunglasses can’t settle for less and neither will we. We provide ballistic sunglasses with style and superior fit, form and function so that our tough customers can stay safe and be brave on or off duty and beyond risk. For those who love adventure our sunglasses will provide excellent UV protection as well as protecting your eyes from flying objects and projectiles.
Eye Safety Systems innovation has been driven by listening to elite warriors. We dissect their challenges, then roll up our sleeves to create real life solutions that work under difficult conditions.
The end result is battle proven eye protection with a track record of peak performance in the most hostile environments.
The entire line of Eyes Safety Systems ballistic-grade eye protection sunglasses are engineered to meet or exceed the most stringent U.S. Military and ANSI Z87.1-2010 specifications.
Established in 1998, ESS (Eye Safety Systems, Inc.) creates advanced eye protection systems for military, law enforcement, fire/rescue and shooting sport markets.
ESS is the only authorized eyewear provider to the United States Marine Corps, is a leading supplier to all other branches of the U.S. DoD, and is sold in over 100 countries. ESS proudly stands behind its products with unparalleled sustainment programs and industry leading customer service.

Eye Safety Systems sunglasses have been created to serve and protect those who serve and protect us. From the beginning we have created ballistic-grade eyewear tough enough to withstand the most unforgiving of conditions: on the battlefield, in burning buildings and fighting crime on the streets.
Inspired by the daily sacrifices made by these heroes, ESS participates in a number of charitable activities. This is one of the ways we give back to the military and first responder communities.
