Frequently asked questions

Are Polarized or Non-Polarized lenses better?

Polarized lenses are designed to be worn near water or in areas with a lot of glare. Polarized lenses should not be worn by pilots who fly aircraft with LCD screens. For everyone else, they provide excellent glare reduction and are great whenever near or on snow or on the water.

Do darker lenses block UV radiation better?

No. No matter how dark you sunglass lenses are the UV proptection remains the same. Again, UVA/UVB protectiion is provided through a micro-thin film placed on the sunglass lens.
