Three Simple Recomendations
-
1
Keep Them Clean
Always keep your lenses clean for best visual acuity and eye protection. Only use water or lens cleaner and microfiber cloth.
-
2
Keep Them Tight
Use a mini-slotted screwdriver like the Wera 2035 to keep your frame from becoming loose and losing a lens or temple.
-
3
Don't Lose Your Sunglasses
Don't lose or drop your sunglasses when you are active and distracted.
Frequently asked questions
Are Polarized or Non-Polarized lenses better?
Polarized lenses are designed to be worn near water or in areas with a lot of glare. Polarized lenses should not be worn by pilots who fly aircraft with LCD screens. For everyone else, they provide excellent glare reduction and are great whenever near or on the water.
Do darker lenses block UV radiation better?
No. No matter how dark you sunglass lenses are the UV proptection remains the same. Again, UC protectiion is provided through a micro-thin film placed on the sunglass lens.

About the founder
John M. White, ATP and Entrepreneur
I am a USAF veteran, former ATP corporate pilot, and an entreprenuer. One of the reasons I decided to create the Aviator Sunglasses website was to provide outstanding service for pilots, veterans, and outdoor sport enthusiasts.
During my flying years I discovered the importance of a great pair of sunglasses, not just those ordinary, off the shelf kind, that look good but that don't really protect your eyes, improve you vision, or provide a comfortable fit. That is why I have researched the marketplace and found the very best sunglasses that provide the best visual acutiy, eye protection, comfort, and durability.
Most importantly, I hate dealing with AI Customer service. I want everyone who visits this store to receive help from a real live person, not some AI generated help!
