All Flying Eyes lenses are made of shatterproof polycarbonate with 100% UVA/UVB blocking. They are very light and provide excellent clarity without sacrificing durability or color accuracy. If, during you first year of wearing them they are damaged, Flying Eyes will replace them free of charge. After one year and a lens breaks you can purchase replacement lens.
Built to Last
Flying Eyes frames are made of ultra-thin (1mm) Resilamide™ making the temples so thin and strong that they are perfect for wear under a helmet or a pair of headsets. The temples are not only ultra-thin, but are super light & flexible, yet virtually unbreakable. They prevent pain and noise leaks by wrapping around the head instead of over the ears for all day comfort.

Frequently asked questions
Will these sunglasses create pain, discomfort, or allow noise into my headset?
No. The Resilamide™ ultra-thin temples are specifically designed for this. They sit flat and comfortable under headsets, helmets, and other headgear without creating pressure points or allowing noise in.
Do the gradient lenses actually block glare and still let me see my insturments?
These gradient lenses are darker on the top side of the lens and lighter towards the bottom of the lenses. This allows you to ignore the painful bright sunlight while still being able to see your instruments clearly.
Are these non-polarized lenses better than polarized lenses?
Yes. For pilots, polarized lenses create problems by eliminating glare making it harder to see other aircraft. They also prevent distoration caused by aircraft cockpit windscreens.
Is there a warranty on these sunglasses?
Yes! Every pair of Flying Eyes sunglasses come with their Limited Lifetime Warranty and 1 Year Lens Replacement Guarantee. If your sunglasses ever fail because of a material or manufacturing defect, Flying Eyes will repair or replace for life.
What happens if I scratch or break a lens ?
If you scratch, break, or simply want to replace your lenses, Flying Eyes will sell you replacement lenses for just $ 69.
