Product Details
Finally — sunglasses that disappear under your headset and keep you seeing clearly from takeoff to touchdown.
Headsets dig. Noise leaks. Polarized lenses black out your instrument panel. The Flying Eyes Cooper Aviator was built by pilots to solve every one of those problems — so you can focus on flying, not your gear.
Your perfect pair is waiting on the flight line.
12 lens tints. Two sizes. One frame built for pilots and aviation enthusiasts who refuse to compromise on comfort or clarity.
✈️ Pick your perfect pair and order today — ships in 1–2 business days.
What the Cooper Does for You
Fits under any headset or helmet. Patented Resilamide™ ultra-thin temples flex and compress without pressure points. Wear them all day under your David Clark, Bose A20, or motorcycle helmet — zero discomfort, zero fatigue.
Keeps your ATC communication crystal clear. Slim temples seal your headset cups properly. No noise leakage. Every transmission comes through clean.
Your instrument panel stays fully readable. Every Cooper lens is non-polarized by design — because polarized lenses can black out LCD cockpit displays. See your panel at every angle, every time.
Shatterproof in high-performance environments. Polycarbonate lenses deliver maximum impact resistance and optical clarity whether you’re at 10,000 feet or carving a canyon road.
100% UV protection at altitude. Full-spectrum UVA/UVB blocking shields your eyes during long hours in the cockpit, where UV exposure is significantly higher than on the ground.
Light enough to forget you’re wearing them. From preflight to shutdown, you’ll never reach up to adjust them.
Backed by a 1-year warranty — and easy to maintain. Replacement lenses install in minutes after year one. No tools, no shop visit.

Why People Choose Our Sunglasses
Backed by Results!
All Flying Eyes lenses are made of shatterproof polycarbonate with 100% UVA/UVB blocking. They are very light and provide excellent clarity without sacrificing durability or color accuracy. If, during you first year of wearing them they are damaged, Flying Eyes will replace them free of charge. After one year and a lens breaks you can purchase replacement lens.
Built to Last
Flying Eyes frames are made of ultra-thin (1mm) Resilamide™ making the temples so thin and strong that they are perfect for wear under a helmet or a pair of headsets. The temples are not only ultra-thin, but are super light & flexible, yet virtually unbreakable. They prevent pain and noise leaks by wrapping around the head instead of over the ears for all day comfort.
30-day Guarantee!
If, for any reason, you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, simply let us know and we will exchange or refund your purchase! We also offer free shipping for all returns and exchanges, and we will also provide FREE shipping labels both ways!

Three Simple Recommendations
-
1
Keep Them Clean
Always keep your lenses clean for best visual acuity and eye protection. Only use water or lens cleaner and microfiber cloth.
-
2
Keep Them Tight
Use a min-slotted screwdriver like the Wera 2035 to keep your frame from becoming loose and losing a lens or temple.
-
3
Don't Lose Your Sunglasses
Don't drop or lose your sunglasses when you are active and distracted. Sunglass leashes are the best option.
Frequently asked questions
How safe and durable are polycarbonate lenses?
Polycarbonate lenses are lightweight, shatterproof, and provide excellent visual acutiy, true color and 100% UVA/UVB radiation protection. In addition, the lenses come with a full one-year warranty against damage, and after one year replacement lenses can be purchased and easily installed in your sunglasses frame.
Would polarized lenses provide better protection?
Polarized lenses are good when near water, snow and ice; however, non-polarized lenses provide excellent glare reduction and will not interfere with LCD monitors like those in airplanes and cars.
Do darker lenses block UV rays better?
No. No matter how light or dark you sunglass lenses are, the UV protection remains the same. Again, UV protection is provided through a miccro-thin film placed on the sunglass lens.
What is the Return policy?
If, within 30 days, you are not satisfied for your purchase for any reason, simply contact us and we will send you a free return label. Once we receive them back and inspect them for damage, we will issue you a full refund.
What is the Exchange policy?
If, for any reason, you want to change your sunglasses for a different pair or size, simply let us know and we will send you a free return label. Once we get the original pair back and examine them for damage, we will send you the replacement pair at our expense, no questions asked!
About the founder
John M. White, ATP Pilot & Entrepreneur
I am a USAF veteran, former ATP corporate pilot, and an entreprenuer. One of the reasons I decided to create the Aviator Sunglasses website was to provide outstanding service for pilots, veterans, and outdoor sport enthusiasts.
During my flying years I discovered the importance of a great pair of sunglasses, not just those ordinary, off the shelf kind, that look good but that don't really protect your eyes, improve you vision, or provide a comfortable fit. That is why I have researched the marketplace and found the very best sunglasses that provide the best visual acutiy, eye protection, comfort, and durability.
Most importantly, I hate dealing with AI Customer service. I want everyone who visits this store to receive help from a real live person, not some AI generated help!
