Description
More coverage. Less glare. Zero headset interference.
When a standard aviator frame doesn't cover enough, the Method Seven Interceptor steps up. Its wider lens profile shields more of your field of view — cutting peripheral glare and reducing eye fatigue on long flights — while ultra-thin temples slide cleanly under any headset or flight helmet without breaking the acoustic seal.
Inside those lenses is Method Seven's proprietary Notch Filtering Technology — the same system trusted by pilots, veterans, sailors, and outdoor athletes who demand more than fashion-grade optics. Enhanced color accuracy, sharper contrast, and crystal-clear UV protection, all without the instrument-display interference of polarized lenses.
What the Interceptor Does For You
- Covers more of your visual field — The wider lens profile goes beyond a standard aviator frame, blocking more peripheral glare and UV exposure. On a long cross-country, that extra coverage means less squinting and less fatigue by the time you reach your destination.
- Fits under any headset without breaking the seal — Ultra-thin temples engineered for the cockpit. No pressure points, no broken acoustic seal, no missed radio calls — whether you're flying with a David Clark or a Bose A20.
- Sharpens what you see, not just dims it — Notch Filtering Technology selectively filters specific light wavelengths to enhance color accuracy and contrast. Your eyes work less, your situational awareness stays sharper.
- Keeps your instruments readable — Non-polarized lenses mean LCD displays, glass cockpits, and avionics screens stay crisp and interference-free. No distortion through aircraft windows either.
- Built tough for the cockpit and beyond — Shatterproof, impact-resistant lenses with full UV protection. Equally at home on the flight line, the water, or the trail.
- The most accessible entry into Method Seven — At $148.75, you get the full Notch Filtering experience without stepping up to the premium glass lens tiers.
More coverage. Better optics. Ready to fly.
