See more. Move faster. Stay in control.
The Kingfisher Wide Sport was built for people like you who demand more from their gear. Whether you're scanning the horizon from the cockpit, leaning into a curve on the bike, tracking a target at the range, or pushing hard on the trail, these are the sunglasses that stay out of your way — and keep the world razor sharp. The patented Resilamide™ temples are so thin and flexible, you'll forget you're wearing them under a helmet, hat, or headset. No pressure. No noise leakage. Just pure focus on what's in front of you.

What the Kingfisher Does for You
- You stay protected, no matter what. ANSI Z87.1 certified — the same impact standard used in industrial safety eyewear. Whether you're at the range, on the road, or in the saddle, these are certified eye protection you can trust at speed.
- You see the full picture. The aggressive 8-base wrap eliminates peripheral glare and widens your field of view, so nothing sneaks up on you from the sides.
- Your helmet or hat fits perfectly — every time. The ultra-thin Resilamide™ temples flex to fit under any helmet, riding hat, or headset without creating pressure points or letting sound leak in.
- Your vision stays sharp in any impact. Shatterproof polycarbonate lenses hold their clarity even in high-performance, high-risk environments.
- Your eyes are protected all day long. 100% UVA/UVB blocking means no squinting, no fatigue, and no damage — whether you're in the saddle for six hours or on the range all afternoon.
- You're covered for life. Flying Eyes backs every Kingfisher frame with a lifetime warranty. And when you need new lenses, affordable replacements are always available.
- You're wearing what high-performance athletes actually use. Every design decision started in demanding real-world conditions — from cockpits to trails to firing lines. This is the result of years of testing where it counts.
Pick the Lens That Matches Your Conditions
| Lens Tint | Best For |
|---|---|
| Dark Solid Gray | Blazing bright days — cuts glare to the bone on the road, trail, or open sky |
| Solid Gray | True color, every day — the most versatile lens in the lineup for any activity |
| Solid Copper | Sharpens depth perception in overcast or variable light — ideal for trails, ranges, and riding |
| Green / G-15 | A classic favorite — enhances contrast so you read terrain, targets, and conditions with ease |
| Gradient Gray | Darker at top, lighter at bottom — blocks overhead sun while keeping your sightlines clear |
| Gradient Copper | Warm fade that adapts as light changes — ideal for long days through shifting conditions |
| Gradient Mirrored Sapphire | Shields your eyes from overhead glare while turning heads wherever you go |
| Solid Mirrored Sapphire | Maximum glare reflection with a bold, cool-blue look that commands attention |
| Mirrored Rose | A warm, flattering finish that performs beautifully in bright conditions |
| Mirrored Sunset | Enhances contrast at dawn and dusk — see the trail, road, or runway in a whole new light |
Note: All Kingfisher lenses are non-polarized. This is intentional — polarized lenses can interfere with LCD displays in cockpits and some instrument panels, and can reduce visibility of surface glare that matters for situational awareness on the road or trail.

Built to Last
Flying Eyes frames are made of ultra-thin (1mm) Resilamide™ making the temples so thin and strong that they are perfect for wear under a helmet or a pair of headsets. The temples are not only ultra-thin, but are super light & flexible, yet virtually unbreakable. They prevent pain and noise leaks by wrapping around the head instead of over the ears for all day comfort.

Frequently asked questions
Will these sunglasses create pain, discomfort, or allow noise into my headset?
No. The Resilamide™ ultra-thin temples are specifically designed for this. They sit flat and comfortable under headsets, helmets, and other headgear without creating pressure points or allowing noise in.
Do the gradient lenses actually block glare and still let me see my insturments?
These gradient lenses are darker on the top side of the lens and lighter towards the bottom of the lenses. This allows you to ignore the painful bright sunlight while still being able to see your instruments clearly.
Are these non-polarized lenses better than polarized lenses?
Yes. For pilots, polarized lenses create problems by eliminating glare making it harder to see other aircraft. They also prevent distoration caused by aircraft cockpit windscreens.
Is there a warranty on these sunglasses?
Yes! Every pair of Flying Eyes sunglasses come with their Limited Lifetime Warranty and 1 Year Lens Replacement Guarantee. If your sunglasses ever fail because of a material or manufacturing defect, Flying Eyes will repair or replace for life.
What happens if I scratch or break a lens ?
If you scratch, break, or simply want to replace your lenses, Flying Eyes will sell you replacement lenses for just $ 69.
