The inception of the MD-530 helicopter traces back to the U.S. Army LOH (Light Observation Helicopter) competition in the 1960s. 

The mission of the MD-530 Cayuse isa multi-purpose light attack helicopter manufactured by MD Helicopters, Inc. It is designed to enhance scout attack, armed escort, and close air attack capabilities for the air forces..

From its initial identity as the Hughes Model 369, the MD-530 serves both as a military and civilian use helicopter known for it's high altitude and lift capabilities.

It has been in production since 1975 and remains in use today for the military, law enforcement, search and rescue opertaions, as well as aerial survying and photography.

The spotlight ultimately centered on three: Hughes’ Model 369, Fairchild-Hillier’s H23 Raven, and Bell’s early OH-58 Kiowa model.

Please note that we process orders Monday through Friday and ship usually within 3-5 days. This is because our inventory is stored at an eFulfillment center and it takes time to process, package and ship our orders.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

We currently ship to most countries through a third party processor. This means that we ship the package to a freight forwarder in the US who then ships the package to the purchasers home country.

You will be provided a tracking link to track your purchase; however, remember that it takes time to get to the forwarder, time for the forwarder to relabel the package, and then time to get to customs in your country.
